Our Creative Process (Web Development)...

 

i) Analyzing Objectives (pre-sales)

Here we determine the key objectives of the project. Be it to drive up product or brand awareness, to create a stronger online presence, or to utilize the website as a lead generation tool, even to push for the sale of a specific product or service.

The key objectives are identified and from that our sales consultants are able to develop a strategy to achieve such goals.

 

 

ii) Preparing and Delivering Proposal (estimate)

Based on the objectives and project requirements our consultants will prepare a proposal which breaks down the criteria of the project and its estimated cost. This process typically requires 24-48 hours after the pre-sales stages. The proposal may be delivered to our clients by Fax or Email.

 

 

iii) Project Agreement and Guidelines (contract/invoice)

If the estimate and project criteria is agreeable our consultants push the proposal to our Billing Department. From there an invoice and project agreement (contract) is set in place. The contract includes criteria, cost, payment terms and project timeline. The agreement may be sent and returned by Fax or Email.

 

 

iv) Acquiring Data and Materials

Once the agreement is returned with initial deposit a Project Manager is assigned to the project and he/she will send a request for any relevant data or materials to the client. This may include existing media, branding materials (logos..etc), written copy...etc. It may be delivered in person, by portable media (CD, DVD, USB), or digital copy by email.

 

 

v) Design Stages

With all materials in order we begin the initial graphic design stages. This typically requires up to one week; depending on project scale. After the one week period a 100% complete draft is shown to the Client, and at this point the client has the option to provide feedback. Once feedback is received the Project Manager instructs our design team to make any necessary revisions as per feedback received.

 

It is the responsibility of the Project Manager to make additional recommendations in this stage to ensure that the design is entirely up to current standards and does not steer away from the initial objectives established in pre-sales.

 

 

vi) Development Stages

Once the design is approved by the Client the Project Manager proceeds to the development stages. During this time all coding, programming and animation work is done. The Client is given a "working demo URL", which essentially means a link where they may view on-going progress. Typically in these stages there are updates to the working demo URL every 72 hours. During this time it is encouraged that the Client communicate any feedback he/she may have directly with the Project Manager.

 

Once a finalized working copy of the website is complete the client is notified and we move on to Testing and Implementation.

 

 

vii) Testing and Implementation

During this stage we run through the entire project to ensure there are no missing elements and everything is in 100% working order. After complete review the website is then moved to the live web hosting account and prepared for launch.

 

 

viii) Launch (completion)

In this stage the website is live, 100% functional and viewable via the Client's domain name (www.company.com). This stage signifies completion of the project.

 

We typically recommend one of our on-going Marketing Campaigns (online or offline) at this time to ensure the complete success of the project and achievement of the initial objectives.
